Cemal Sangu: Out of Sight but very near to heart

It is very difficult to say goodbye to His Excellency Mr. Cemal Sangu, Consul General of the brother country, Turkiye, who has completed his tenure and left for Turkiye. He is leaving sweet memories behind him. Mr. Cemal Sangu is the embodiment of love, kindness, hospitality, and friendship. I try my best to express my sentiments in the following lines, although it is very difficult to express my thoughts about him in words.
My Dear brother Cemal Sangu!
You are now thousands of miles away from us; the physical distance is very long, but there is no distance between our hearts. You will always remain in our hearts. You are very close and near to us as one Urdu poet said:
Dil ke Aainey main hai tasveer e Yar
Jab Zara Gardan Jhokai dekh li
( The picture of my friend is in the mirror of my heart, and whenever I want to see it, I just bow my neck to see it)
Dear brother! When you reach Turkiye, a country synonymous with beauty, love, brotherhood, and hospitality, tell our Turkish brothers and sisters that Pakistanis love Turkiye, its people, and leadership very much. Your visionary, honest, sincere leader, Tayyip Erdogan, is very popular in Pakistan. Tell them Turkiye is our brother, relative, and sincere friend, a very close and dear one. A friend in need is a friend indeed. Our friendship is sweeter than honey, deeper than oceans, and greater than K2( these are your words and reflect the sentiments of every Pakistani).
My Dear Brother
You are the conqueror of hearts and minds. Your pleasant personality, beautiful smile, sincerity, and kindness were always a source of attraction for us. Similar are the sentiments of our Chief Editor, Jawed Malik, and Noor e Haram. These are the sentiments of everyone who met you once, and as it is said in Urdu:
Aik bar miley hain bar bar milney ko ji chatah hai
(We met once with him, but our hearts are attracted towards him to meet again and again)
Before departure, Mr. Cemal Sangu sent me the following message, which fully reflects his sentiments about us. Following is the excerpt of his message:
“ My dear brother, thank you so much for your kind words, kindness, warm hospitality, friendship, and wonderful company.I really did enjoy the time together very much.
It is lovely to know you all. Please let us remain in contact, and we will keep in touch.
Remember that you have a house in Ankara whose door is always open.
May Almighty Allah always bless you and your family.
