Industry of Pakistan

Basically Pakistan is an
agricultural country. Our industry is in developing phase. however we are
producing some world famous products. we get 25.4 percent of G.D.P from it. And
it provides with job to 10.7 percent of the labor force.
The electronic, special fans and potter industry of Gujrat has its own name in
world market. Similarly the leather, sports and surgical industry of Sialkot has
a unique identity in the world. the textile of Faisalabad is famous all over the
world as well. we have many other well known and world reputed industries.
But now a day Pakistan is facing bitter crises of energy and industry of
Pakistan is a victim of this. the production of industries has become low. but
the demand and need of the people remains the same as it was in the past, this
causes the increase in prices.
A lot of people have become jobless.
The industry of the country is one of the most important sector of its economy.
Is is necessary that some reasonable steps should be taken for the progress of
the industry. It is the duty of the government to solve the problem to energy.
And we should prefer local products, it will reduce the volume of import and
save foreign exchange .
Industrial fairs and exhibitions can be helpful to promote the industry. We
should take every possible step to promote and develop our industry, because
national progress is associated with its progress.
