Pollution And Its Effects
(Inayat Ali Shigri Kawish, Karachi)
The world is changing into a
global village due to tremendous progress of scientific techniques. People
become well aware as compare to the past. But mostly countries still facing many
big problems, one of them is pollution and its effects. Scientist also failed to
some extend to solve this problem.
The introduction of scientific techniques in our life changed our lifestyle and
life become so easier; beside this it also creating a too much problems for us.
Pollution means all those things which or elements which harmful for environment
and atmosphere. There are so many types of pollutions but the most common are:
Air, Water and Noise pollution.
Today when we look at our roads, we see that different types of automobiles
running on the road, which we use for transportation but we do not feel that
these are also polluting our environment and atmosphere. No of automobiles
running with spreading of different types of toxic and chemical gases which are
not just harmful for environment also for human beings.
Now look at the industrial areas no of factories and heavy industries are
working their. We get our daily routine things from these industries and
factories, but we don’t see how these are polluting our atmosphere. These
factories and industries release waste gases which contain dangerous types of
toxic fogs and chemical gases freely in to the atmosphere, and drained the waste
water contains chemical compounds into the rivers.
This is very harmful and dangerous for sea animals, also a main cause to reduce
the sea animals. Peoples also through their house hold into the rivers. In back
ward areas people use this water for house purpose and also grow different types
of vegetables.
Today the big problem facing by the world is depletion of ozone layer.
Ozone is a sphere which absorbs harmful radiations coming from sun towards
earth. Scientists worried about the depletion of ozone layer and still trying to
find a solution to protect it from pollution. Air pollution is the main factor
which causing the depletion of ozone layer. The most harmful element for ozone
is chloro flouro carbon (CCl4), mostly released by cooling agents e.g.
refrigerator, air conditioner e.t.c.
What are the effects of these pollution on our life?
We can easily find the answer of this question by visiting our hospitals, no of
people suffering various types of disease cause by pollution. The most common
disease caused by the pollution is skin disease, cholera, cancer, loose hearing,
inflammation, chest pain, sore throats e.t.c.
To control these problems maximum plants should be planted in order to keep
clean and fresh our atmosphere, household and waste products should buried under
the earth, action should be taken against the automobiles which spreads
pollutions.
All these problems are our self created and just we can solve it, becoming every
people responsible in their work we can save this beautiful world.
