SMOKING HAZARD!

Despite existence of law,
prohibiting smoking at public places, violation is at its peak. Everywhere, in
public parks, buses, trains and even in educational institutions and hospitals,
people are seen puffing cigarettes without any awareness that their habit is
heavily costing others besides harming themselves. Few of our role-models
politicians and media anchors are also shown to enjoy smoking, creating a
negative impact in the mind of general public. Media should play its role in
highlighting the adverse effects of smoking and young generation should be
warned of its life-threatening consequences. Anybody violating the law to smoke
at public place should be heavily penalized to discourage this menace.
