Life, a precious gift

(saddiqa Orazgani, Quetta)

Life is a precious and valuable gift of Allah Almighty which should not be spent aimlessly. We must live a life of valor and courage, and must fight against the evils of society. This souvenir bestowed by Almighty Allah gets the best flavor when it is spent for the betterment and welfare of other fellows.

Life is a package of sorrows and happiness. It gets ups and down too, but only passion, contentment and compassion can be the best remedies to save us from being dejected and cynic. As mentioned in Holly Quran “one who saves a single human life; he is the savior of all mankind”. This Ayyah signifies that life must not go in waste; it should be for the rescue and support of social beings. Every one of us shall try to contribute an amount for someone’s welfare and comfort, because life spent in leisure and perpetual handiness may lead to stone-heartedness.

An absolute treatment for a happy life is based on a motto ‘serve the mankind”, since it brings self satisfaction that is a universal law for a prosperous life. As it is said, ‘the serving hands are better than the praying lips”, so, our hands shall all the time be ready to donate comfort to others.

A purposeless life is an empty bowl which becomes the abode of dust or rust.

Lives of Prophets and pious beings are solid instincts which are beacon for us. Ms. Florence Nightingale devoted her life for ailing mankind, and served them till her last breath. Father of nation, Mohammad Ali Jinnah devoted his days and nights for our freedom, and above all teacher of mankind, Mohammad (PBUH) dedicated himself for preaching well to illiterate mankind. Thus, we come to a point to say that where there is will there is way, and if one is willing to spread happiness and provide comfort to people, nothing can hinder into his/her way. We must live a life that shall remain an example and people tend to follow it. At least donating our own share, be it minor or major, but it will have an impact, and will leave its positive imprints in society.
