This is not the first time that a massive bomb blast has hit the city, this is happening for several years in Pakistan. But yes, every time the blast occurs, it leaves many people crying and for many days people become scared. The year 2009 was a nightmare for the people of Pakistan. Besides the problem of electricity and gas load shedding, common man of the country has faced the worst scenario as far as the law and order situation is concerned. About 497 bomb blasts took placed in the country which ripped off the lives of thousands of people.

The recent suicide attack was the one that took place in the metropolis targeting a Shiite Muslim procession that killed about 30 people and many injured. As always, it was said by the government that the security is tightened but not fulfilling their promise once again it happened and many innocent people lost their lives. The financial capital and the metropolitan city of Pakistan once again become red by the blood of its citizens. The situation become worse when shortly after the bomb blast the outraged Shiites responded by setting fire to buildings and vehicles. This was the time when nation needs to stand together and become united and fight against the forces who want to destroy our beloved motherland.

As a third world country, we need to work hard enough to avail the basic necessities of our lives. But these suicide attacks have worsened the situations. Our homeland is no safer but we are the one who can stand against these suicide bombers by telling them that we are not afraid of them. This is the true loyalty towards the nation. Destroying our own assets is not the way to express emotions. Pakistan was created on the name of Islam and Islam does not teach us any kind of extremism. Therefore, it becomes a responsibility for all of us to not only play a pivotal role in the progress of the country but also say no to any kind of extremism and extremists. We are not a terrorist nation but we are anti terrorism.
