5 – Tips Students Can Choose a Right Career

Career is a professional and occupational planning that is assumed by a person in his student’s life with a view to get lifework according planned wish or objective. Mostly students are not in a position to get their right career due to lacking proper guidance and wrong approaches. To select the right career is not an easy task. Interest and willing of students must be observed selecting their career; otherwise they may become a rolling stone in their professional life. Students can choose a right career by going through the five tips mentioned below.

1. Willingness and Capacity: First students find out their willingness what they want to do in the future and how much capacity and strength they have. Self-examination, willingness and capacity play a key role choosing a right career as both, passions and strength, are downright helpful to achieve the goal and objective. Willingness and capacity are integral parts to each other because if intention / willingness is existed, but there is no capacity, then objective cannot be obtained, or it will be much difficult to achieve the goal. On the other hand, if capacity is existed, but there is no willing then goal cannot be attained as there is no willing there is no filling – there is no capacity there is no velocity.
 
2. Perspiration: An object cannot be obtained without a subject. It means that an objective and a goal cannot be achieved without shedding perspiration, i.e. stern efforts are to be made to get the goal materialized. Students must select their goals after deep analyzing and taking guidance from experts. After selecting the goals, they should chase them steadily and dedicatedly by leaving the end-result for Allah.

3. Creating High self-esteem: High self-esteem is a powerful tool of human beings as it creates confidence, boldness, openness and abilities to take challenges. Students must have an optimistic mindset by avoiding negative thinking, enabling them to be good decision-makers. The students who have high self-esteem are in a position to use their strengths by overcoming their weaknesses. Their high self-esteem is helpful selecting right approaches that lead to choose a right career. If right career is selected there is a chance that students may reach to the high- level structural job that will certainly fulfill their optimized desires.

4. Time Management: Time is more costly than money as one cannot purchase his elapsed time through money. Gone time cannot come back. Available time must be encashed through gaining knowledge, awareness and expertise that are helpful in capacity building. Students must give value to time and in reciprocal way time will give them value by facilitating them choosing a right career.

5. Consistency ED-CA Approach: Consistency in Education-Career Approach means that after education, search of job is to be done according to the education so that job satisfaction could be ascertained. It is witnessed that some students do not get jobs in accordance with their education; resultantly they stuck in their career path and become disappointed. Students’ professional life must be in accordance with their acquired education otherwise development in their career cannot be turned up. Students must give importance to consistency ED-CA approach, choosing the right career.
