فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهٗ٘-وَ وَهَبْنَا لَهٗ یَحْیٰى وَ اَصْلَحْنَا لَهٗ زَوْجَهٗؕ-اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا یُسٰرِعُوْنَ فِی الْخَیْرٰتِ وَ یَدْعُوْنَنَا رَغَبًا وَّ رَهَبًاؕ-وَ كَانُوْا لَنَا خٰشِعِیْنَ ﴿۹۰﴾

تو ہم نے اس کی دعا قبول کی اور اسے (ف۱۵۸) یحییٰ عطا فرمایا اور اس کے لیے اس کی بی بی سنواری (ف۱۵۹) بیشک وہ (ف۱۶۰) بھلے کاموں میں جلدی کرتے تھے اور ہمیں پکارتے تھے امید اور خوف سے، اور ہمارے حضور گڑگڑاتے ہیں، ﴿۹۰﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) تو ہم نے ان کی پکار سن لی۔ اور ان کو یحییٰ بخشے اور ان کی بیوی کو اُن کے (حسن معاشرت کے) قابل بنادیا۔ یہ لوگ لپک لپک کر نیکیاں کرتے اور ہمیں امید سے پکارتے اور ہمارے آگے عاجزی کیا کرتے تھے ﴿۹۰﴾

Surah Anbiya Ayat 90 with English Translation

Then We heard his prayer, and bestowed upon him John, and adjusted his wife (to bear a child) for him. Lo! they used to vie one with the other in good deeds, and they cried unto Us in longing and in fear, and were submissive unto Us. ﴾90﴿
