قَالُوْۤا اَجِئْتَنَا لِنَعْبُدَ اللّٰهَ وَحْدَهٗ وَ نَذَرَ مَا كَانَ یَعْبُدُ اٰبَآؤُنَاۚ-فَاْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَاۤ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِیْنَ ﴿۷۰﴾

بولے کیا تم ہمارے پاس اس لیے آئے ہو (ف۱۲۵) کہ ہم ایک اللہ کو پوجیں اور جو (ف۱۲۶) ہمارے باپ دادا پوجتے تھے، انہیں چھوڑ دیں تو لاؤ (ف۱۲۷) جس کا ہمیں وعدہ دے رہے ہو اگر سچے ہو، ﴿۷۰﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) وہ کہنے لگے کہ تم ہمارے پاس اس لیے آئے ہو کہ ہم اکیلے خدا ہی کی عبادت کریں۔ اور جن کو ہمارے باپ دادا پوجتے چلے آئے ہیں ان کو چھوڑ دیں؟ تو اگر سچے ہو تو جس چیز سے ہمیں ڈراتے ہو اسے لے آؤ ﴿۷۰﴾
