وَ اِذْ قَالَ اِبْرٰهٖمُ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هٰذَا بَلَدًا اٰمِنًا وَّ ارْزُقْ اَهْلَهٗ مِنَ الثَّمَرٰتِ مَنْ اٰمَنَ مِنْهُمْ بِاللّٰهِ وَ الْیَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِؕ-قَالَ وَ مَنْ كَفَرَ فَاُمَتِّعُهٗ قَلِیْلًا ثُمَّ اَضْطَرُّهٗۤ اِلٰى عَذَابِ النَّارِؕ-وَ بِئْسَ الْمَصِیْرُ ﴿۱۲۶﴾

اور جب عرض کی ابراہیم ؑ نے کہ اے میرے رب اس شہر کو امان والا کردے اور اس کے رہنے والوں کو طرح طرح کے پھلوں سے روزی دے جو ان میں سے اللہ اور پچھلے دن پر ایمان لائیں (ف۲۳۰) فرمایا اور جو کافر ہوا تھوڑا برتنے کو اسے بھی دوں گا پھر اسے عذاب ِ دوزخ کی طرف مجبور کردوں گا اور بہت بری جگہ ہے پلٹنے کی- ﴿۱۲۶﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) اور جب ابراہیم نے دعا کی کہ اے پروردگار، اس جگہ کو امن کا شہر بنا اور اس کے رہنے والوں میں سے جو خدا پر اور روزِ آخرت پر ایمان لائیں، ان کے کھانے کو میوے عطا کر، تو خدا نے فرمایا کہ جو کافر ہوگا، میں اس کو بھی کسی قدر متمتع کروں گا، (مگر) پھر اس کو (عذاب) دوزخ کے (بھگتنے کے) لیے ناچار کردوں گا، اور وہ بری جگہ ہے ﴿۱۲۶﴾

Surah Baqarah Ayat 126 with English Translation

And when Abraham prayed: My Lord! Make this a region of security and bestow upon its people fruits, such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day, He answered: As for him who disbelieveth, I shall leave him in contentment for a while, then I shall compel him to the doom of Fire - a hapless journey's end! ﴾126﴿
