اَمْ كُنْتُمْ شُهَدَآءَ اِذْ حَضَرَ یَعْقُوْبَ الْمَوْتُۙ-اِذْ قَالَ لِبَنِیْهِ مَا تَعْبُدُوْنَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِیْؕ-قَالُوْا نَعْبُدُ اِلٰهَكَ وَ اِلٰهَ اٰبَآىٕكَ اِبْرٰهٖمَ وَ اِسْمٰعِیْلَ وَ اِسْحٰقَ اِلٰهًا وَّاحِدًاۖ-ۚ وَّ نَحْنُ لَهٗ مُسْلِمُوْنَ ﴿۱۳۳﴾

بلکہ تم میں کے خود موجود تھے (ف۲۴۱) جب یعقوب ؑ کو موت آئی جبکہ اس نے اپنے بیٹوں سے فرمایا میرے بعد کس کی پوجا کروگے بولے ہم پوجیں گے اسے جو خدا ہے آپ کا اور آپ کے آباء ابراہیم ؑ و اسمٰعیل ؑ (ف۲۴۲) و اسحاقؑ کا ایک خدا اور ہم اس کے حضور گردن رکھے ہیں، ﴿۱۳۳﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) بھلا جس وقت یعقوب وفات پانے لگے تو تم اس وقت موجود تھے، جب انہوں نے اپنے بیٹوں سے پوچھا کہ میرے بعد تم کس کی عبادت کرو گے، تو انہوں نے کہا کہ آپ کے معبود اور آپ کے باپ دادا ابراہیم اور اسمٰعیل اور اسحاق کے معبود کی عبادت کریں گے جو معبود یکتا ہے اور ہم اُسی کے حکم بردار ہیں ﴿۱۳۳﴾

Or were ye present when death came to Jacob, when he said unto his sons: What will ye worship after me? They said: We shall worship thy god, the god of thy fathers, Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac, One Allah, and unto Him we have surrendered. ﴾133﴿
