ثُمَّ قَسَتْ قُلُوْبُكُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِ ذٰلِكَ فَهِیَ كَالْحِجَارَةِ اَوْ اَشَدُّ قَسْوَةًؕ-وَ اِنَّ مِنَ الْحِجَارَةِ لَمَا یَتَفَجَّرُ مِنْهُ الْاَنْهٰرُؕ-وَ اِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا یَشَّقَّقُ فَیَخْرُ جُ مِنْهُ الْمَآءُؕ-وَ اِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا یَهْبِطُ مِنْ خَشْیَةِ اللّٰهِؕ-وَ مَا اللّٰهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ﴿۷۴﴾

پھر اس کے بعد تمہارے دل سخت ہوگئے (ف۱۲۴) تو وہ پتھروں کی مثل ہیں بلکہ ان سے بھی زیادہ کرّے اور پتھروں میں تو کچھ وہ ہیں جن سے ندیاں بہہ نکلتی ہیں اور کچھ وہ ہیں جو پھٹ جاتے ہیں تو ان سے پانی نکلتا ہے اور کچھ وہ ہیں جو اللہ کے ڈر سے گر پڑتے ہیں (ف۱۲۵) اور اللہ تمہارے کوتکوں سے بے خبر نہیں، ﴿۷۴﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) پھر اس کے بعد تمہارے دل سخت ہو گئے۔ گویا وہ پتھر ہیں یا ان سے بھی زیادہ سخت۔ اور پتھر تو بعضے ایسے ہوتے ہیں کہ ان میں سے چشمے پھوٹ نکلتے ہیں، اور بعضے ایسے ہوتے ہیں کہ پھٹ جاتے ہیں،اور ان میں سے پانی نکلنے لگتا ہے، اور بعضے ایسے ہوتے ہیں کہ خدا کے خوف سے گر پڑتے ہیں، اور خدا تمہارے عملوں سے بے خبر نہیں ﴿۷۴﴾

Surah Baqarah Ayat 74 with English Translation

Then, even after that, your hearts were hardened and became as rocks, or worse than rocks, for hardness. For indeed there are rocks from out which rivers gush, and indeed there are rocks which split asunder so that water floweth from them. And indeed there are rocks which fall down for the fear of Allah. Allah is not unaware of what ye do. ﴾74﴿
