قُلْ لِّلْمُخَلَّفِیْنَ مِنَ الْاَعْرَابِ سَتُدْعَوْنَ اِلٰى قَوْمٍ اُولِیْ بَاْسٍ شَدِیْدٍ تُقَاتِلُوْنَهُمْ اَوْ یُسْلِمُوْنَۚ-فَاِنْ تُطِیْعُوْا یُؤْتِكُمُ اللّٰهُ اَجْرًا حَسَنًاۚ-وَ اِنْ تَتَوَلَّوْا كَمَا تَوَلَّیْتُمْ مِّنْ قَبْلُ یُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا اَلِیْمًا ﴿۱۶﴾

ان پیچھے رہ گئے ہوئے گنواروں سے فرماؤ (ف۳۷) عنقریب تم ایک سخت لڑائی والی قوم کی طرف بلائے جاؤ گے (ف۳۸) کہ ان سے لڑو یا وہ مسلمان ہوجائیں، پھر اگر تم فرمان مانو گے اللہ تمہیں اچھا ثواب دے گا، ور اگر پھر گے جیسے پہلے پھر گئے تو تمھیں درد ناک عذاب دے گا، ﴿۱۶﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) جو گنوار پیچھے رہ گئے تھے ان سے کہہ دو کہ تم ایک سخت جنگجو قوم کے (ساتھ لڑائی کے) لئے بلائے جاؤ گے ان سے تم (یا تو) جنگ کرتے رہو گے یا وہ اسلام لے آئیں گے۔ اگر تم حکم مانو گے تو خدا تم کو اچھا بدلہ دے گا۔ اور اگر منہ پھیر لو گے جیسے پہلی دفعہ پھیرا تھا تو وہ تم کو بری تکلیف کی سزا دے گا ﴿۱۶﴾

Surah Fath Ayat 16 with English Translation

Say unto those of the wandering Arabs who were left behind: Ye will be called against a folk of mighty prowess, to fight them until they surrender; and if ye obey, Allah will give you a fair reward; but if ye turn away as ye did turn away before, He will punish you with a painful doom. ﴾16﴿
