وَ مَا یَسْتَوِی الْبَحْرٰنِ ﳓ هٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ سَآىٕـغٌ شَرَابُهٗ وَ هٰذَا مِلْحٌ اُجَاجٌؕ-وَ مِنْ كُلٍّ تَاْكُلُوْنَ لَحْمًا طَرِیًّا وَّ تَسْتَخْرِجُوْنَ حِلْیَةً تَلْبَسُوْنَهَاۚ-وَ تَرَى الْفُلْكَ فِیْهِ مَوَاخِرَ لِتَبْتَغُوْا مِنْ فَضْلِهٖ وَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُوْنَ ﴿۱۲﴾

اور دونوں سمندر ایک سے نہیں (ف۳۴) یہ میٹھا ہے خوب میٹھا پانی خوشگوار اور یہ کھاری ہے تلخ اور ہر ایک میں سے تم کھاتے ہو تازہ گوشت (ف۳۵) اور نکالتے ہو پہننے کا ایک گہنا (زیور) (ف۳۶) اور تو کشتیوں کو اس میں دیکھے کہ پانی چیرتی ہیں (ف۳۷) تاکہ تم اس کا فضل تلاش کرو (ف۳۸) اور کسی طرح حق مانو (ف۳۹) ﴿۱۲﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) اور دونوں دریا (مل کر) یکساں نہیں ہوجاتے۔ یہ تو میٹھا ہے پیاس بجھانے والا۔ جس کا پانی خوشگوار ہے اور یہ کھاری ہے کڑوا۔ اور سب سے تم تازہ گوشت کھاتے ہو اور زیور نکالتے ہو جسے پہنتے ہو۔ اور تم دریا میں کشتیوں کو دیکھتے ہو کہ (پانی کو) پھاڑتی چلی آتی ہیں تاکہ تم اس کے فضل سے (معاش) تلاش کرو اور تاکہ شکر کرو ﴿۱۲﴾

Surah Fatir Ayat 12 with English Translation

And the two seas are not alike: this, fresh, sweet, good to drink, this (other) bitter, salt. And from them both ye eat fresh meat and derive the ornament that ye wear. And thou seest the ship cleaving them with its prow that ye may seek of His bounty, and that haply ye may give thanks. ﴾12﴿
