اِذْ جَآءَتْهُمُ الرُّسُلُ مِنْۢ بَیْنِ اَیْدِیْهِمْ وَ مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ اَلَّا تَعْبُدُوْۤا اِلَّا اللّٰهَؕ-قَالُوْا لَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّنَا لَاَنْزَلَ مَلٰٓىٕكَةً فَاِنَّا بِمَاۤ اُرْسِلْتُمْ بِهٖ كٰفِرُوْنَ ﴿۱۴﴾

جب رسول ان کے آگے پیچھے پھرتے تھے (ف۳۳) کہ اللہ کے سوا کسی کو نہ پوجو، بولے (ف۳۴) ہمارا رب چاہتا تو فرشتے اتارتا (ف۳۵) تو جو کچھ تم لے کر بھیجے گئے ہم اسے نہیں مانتے (ف۳۶) ﴿۱۴﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) جب ان کے پاس پیغمبر ان کے آگے اور پیچھے سے آئے کہ خدا کے سوا (کسی کی) عبادت نہ کرو۔ کہنے لگے کہ اگر ہمارا پروردگار چاہتا تو فرشتے اُتار دیتا سو جو تم دے کر بھیجے گئے ہو ہم اس کو نہیں مانتے ﴿۱۴﴾

When their messengers came unto them from before them and behind them, saying: Worship none but Allah! they said: If our Lord had willed, He surely would have sent down angels (unto us), so lo! we are disbelievers in that wherewith ye have been sent. ﴾14﴿
