وَ لَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًا مِّنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْهُمْ مَّنْ قَصَصْنَا عَلَیْكَ وَ مِنْهُمْ مَّنْ لَّمْ نَقْصُصْ عَلَیْكَؕ-وَ مَا كَانَ لِرَسُوْلٍ اَنْ یَّاْتِیَ بِاٰیَةٍ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِۚ-فَاِذَا جَآءَ اَمْرُ اللّٰهِ قُضِیَ بِالْحَقِّ وَ خَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ الْمُبْطِلُوْنَ ﴿۷۸﴾

اور بیشک ہم نے تم سے پہلے کتنے رسول بھیجے کہ جن میں کسی کا احوال تم سے بیان فرمایا (ف۱۶۴) اور کسی کا احوال نہ بیان فرمایا (ف۱۶۵) اور کسی رسول کو نہیں پہنچتا کہ کوئی نشانی لے آئے بے حکم خدا کے، پھر جب اللہ کا حکم آئے گا (ف۱۶۶) سچا فیصلہ فرمادیا جائے گا (ف۱۶۷) اور باطل والوں کا وہاں خسارہ، ﴿۷۸﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) اور ہم نے تم سے پہلے (بہت سے) پیغمبر بھیجے۔ ان میں کچھ تو ایسے ہیں جن کے حالات تم سے بیان کر دیئے ہیں اور کچھ ایسے ہیں جن کے حالات بیان نہیں کئے۔ اور کسی پیغمبر کا مقدور نہ تھا کہ خدا کے حکم کے سوا کوئی نشانی لائے۔ پھر جب خدا کا حکم آپہنچا تو انصاف کے ساتھ فیصلہ کردیا گیا اور اہل باطل نقصان میں پڑ گئے ﴿۷۸﴾

Surah Ghafir Ayat 78 with English Translation

Verily We sent messengers before thee, among them those of whom We have told thee, and some of whom We have not told thee; and it was not given to any messenger that he should bring a portent save by Allah's leave, but when Allah's commandment cometh (the cause) is judged aright, and the followers of vanity will then be lost. ﴾78﴿
