Surah Hajj is the 22nd chapter of Holy Quran. As the name says, this Surah is based on the fifth pillar of Islam i.e. Hajj. Surah Hajj was revealed in Makkah city and comprise of 78 Ayat in total. Holy Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) has highly regarded those who recite this Surah during the time of Hajj. According to him, those who recite Surah Hajj will be rewarded equally to the number of pilgrims at the time of Hajj and those who will go for sacred Hajj pilgrimage in future. According to Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq, whoever recites Surah Hajj once in every three days will get the opportunity of going for Hajj in the same year. In case this person dies on the way, he will be granted Jannah. If the person performing Hajj is a sinner then his punishment will be reduced.
