قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیْۤ اَعُوْذُ بِكَ اَنْ اَسْــٴَـلَكَ مَا لَیْسَ لِیْ بِهٖ عِلْمٌؕ-وَ اِلَّا تَغْفِرْ لِیْ وَ تَرْحَمْنِیْۤ اَكُنْ مِّنَ الْخٰسِرِیْنَ ﴿۴۷﴾

عرض کی اے رب میرے میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں کہ تجھ سے وہ چیز مانگوں جس کا مجھے علم نہیں، اور اگر تو مجھے نہ بخشے اور رحم نہ کرے تو میں زیاں کار ہوجاؤں، ﴿۴۷﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) نوح نے کہا پروردگار میں تجھ سے پناہ مانگتا ہوں کہ ایسی چیز کا تجھ سے سوال کروں جس کی حقیقت مجھے معلوم نہیں۔ اور اگر تو مجھے نہیں بخشے گا اور مجھ پر رحم نہیں کرے گا تو میں تباہ ہوجاؤں گا ﴿۴۷﴾

He said: My Lord! Lo! in Thee do I seek refuge (from the sin) that I should ask of Thee that whereof I have no knowledge. Unless Thou forgive me and have mercy on me I shall be among the lost. ﴾47﴿
