وَ اِلٰى مَدْیَنَ اَخَاهُمْ شُعَیْبًاؕ-قَالَ یٰقَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ اِلٰهٍ غَیْرُهٗؕ-وَ لَا تَنْقُصُوا الْمِكْیَالَ وَ الْمِیْزَانَ اِنِّیْۤ اَرٰىكُمْ بِخَیْرٍ وَّ اِنِّیْۤ اَخَافُ عَلَیْكُمْ عَذَابَ یَوْمٍ مُّحِیْطٍ ﴿۸۴﴾

اور (ف۱۷۳) مدین کی طرف ان کے ہم قوم شعیب کو (ف۱۷۴) کہا اے میری قوم اللہ کو پوجو اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں (ف۱۷۵) اور ناپ اور تول میں کمی نہ کرو بیشک میں تمہیں آسودہ حال دیکھتا ہوں (ف۱۷۶) اور مجھے تم پر گھیر لینے والے دن کا عذاب کا ڈر ہے (ف۱۷۷) ﴿۸۴﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) اور مدین کی طرف ان کے بھائی شعیب کو (بھیجا) تو اُنہوں نے کہا کہ اے قوم! خدا ہی کی عبادت کرو کہ اس کے سوا تمہارا کوئی معبود نہیں۔ اور ناپ تول میں کمی نہ کیا کرو۔ میں تو تم کو آسودہ حال دیکھتا ہوں اور (اگر تم ایمان نہ لاؤ گے تو) مجھے تمہارے بارے میں ایک ایسے دن کے عذاب کا خوف ہے جو تم کو گھیر کر رہے گا ﴿۸۴﴾

And unto Midian (We sent) their brother Shu'eyb. He said: O my people! Serve Allah. Ye have no other Allah save Him! And give not short measure and short weight. Lo! I see you well-to-do, and lo! I fear for you the doom of a besetting Day. ﴾84﴿
