یَمُنُّوْنَ عَلَیْكَ اَنْ اَسْلَمُوْاؕ-قُلْ لَّا تَمُنُّوْا عَلَیَّ اِسْلَامَكُمْۚ-بَلِ اللّٰهُ یَمُنُّ عَلَیْكُمْ اَنْ هَدٰىكُمْ لِلْاِیْمَانِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِیْنَ ﴿۱۷﴾

اے محبوب وہ تم پر احسان جتاتے ہیں کہ مسلمان ہوگئے، تم فرماؤ اپنے اسلام کا احسان مجھ پر نہ رکھو بلکہ اللہ تم پر احسان رکھتا ہے کہ اس نے تمہیں اسلام کی ہدایت کی اگر تم سچے ہو (ف۴۴) ﴿۱۷﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) یہ لوگ تم پر احسان رکھتے ہیں کہ مسلمان ہوگئے ہیں۔ کہہ دو کہ اپنے مسلمان ہونے کا مجھ پر احسان نہ رکھو۔ بلکہ خدا تم پر احسان رکھتا ہے کہ اس نے تمہیں ایمان کا رستہ دکھایا بشرطیکہ تم سچے (مسلمان) ہو ﴿۱۷﴾

Surah Hujurat Ayat 17 with English Translation

They make it a favour unto thee (Muhammad) that they have surrendered (unto Him). Say: Deem not your Surrender a favour unto me; but Allah doth confer a favour on you, inasmuch as He hath led you to the Faith, if ye are earnest. ﴾17﴿
