یٰۤاَهْلَ الْكِتٰبِ قَدْ جَآءَكُمْ رَسُوْلُنَا یُبَیِّنُ لَكُمْ عَلٰى فَتْرَةٍ مِّنَ الرُّسُلِ اَنْ تَقُوْلُوْا مَا جَآءَنَا مِنْۢ بَشِیْرٍ وَّ لَا نَذِیْرٍ٘-فَقَدْ جَآءَكُمْ بَشِیْرٌ وَّ نَذِیْرٌؕ-وَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیْرٌ ﴿۱۹﴾

اے کتاب والو! بیشک تمہارے پاس ہمارے یہ رسول (ف۶۴) تشریف لائے کہ تم پر ہمارے احکام ظاہر فرماتے ہیں بعد اس کے کہ رسولوں کا آنا مدتوں بند رہا تھا (ف۶۵) کہ کبھی کہو کہ ہمارے پاس کوئی خوشی اور ڈر سنانے والا نہ آیا تو یہ خوشی اور ڈر سنانے والے تمہارے پاس تشریف لائے ہیں، اور اللہ کو سب قدرت ہے، ﴿۱۹﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) اے اہلِ کتاب پیغمبروں کے آنے کا سلسلہ جو (ایک عرصے تک) منقطع رہا تو (اب) تمہارے پاس ہمارے پیغمبر آ گئے ہیں جو تم سے (ہمارے احکام) بیان کرتے ہیں تاکہ تم یہ نہ کہو کہ ہمارے پاس کوئی خوشخبری یا ڈر سنانے والا نہیں آیا سو (اب) تمہارے پاس خوشخبری اور ڈر سنانے والے آ گئے ہیں اور خدا ہر چیز پر قادر ہے ﴿۱۹﴾

Surah Maidah Ayat 19 with English Translation

O People of the Scripture! Now hath Our messenger come unto you to make things plain unto you after an interval (of cessation) of the messengers, lest ye should say: There came not unto us a messenger of cheer nor any warner. Now hath a messenger of cheer and a warner come unto you. Allah is Able to do all things. ﴾19﴿
