یٰۤاَیُّهَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَیَبْلُوَنَّكُمُ اللّٰهُ بِشَیْءٍ مِّنَ الصَّیْدِ تَنَالُهٗۤ اَیْدِیْكُمْ وَ رِمَاحُكُمْ لِیَعْلَمَ اللّٰهُ مَنْ یَّخَافُهٗ بِالْغَیْبِۚ-فَمَنِ اعْتَدٰى بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ فَلَهٗ عَذَابٌ اَلِیْمٌ ﴿۹۴﴾

اے ایمان والوں ضرور اللہ تمہیں آزمائے گا ایسے بعض شکار سے جس تک تمہارا ہاتھ اور نیزے پہنچیں (ف۲۲۶) کہ اللہ پہچان کرادے ان کی جو اس سے بن دیکھے ڈرتے ہیں، پھر اس کے بعد جو حد سے بڑھے (ف۲۲۷) اس کے لئے دردناک عذاب ہے، ﴿۹۴﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) مومنو! کسی قدر شکار سے جن کو تم ہاتھوں اور نیزوں سے پکڑ سکو خدا تمہاری آزمائش کرے گا (یعنی حالت احرام میں شکار کی ممانعت سے) تا کہ معلوم کرے کہ اس سے غائبانہ کون ڈرتا ہے تو جو اس کے بعد زیادتی کرے اس کے لیے دکھ دینے والا عذاب (تیار) ہے ﴿۹۴﴾

O ye who believe! Allah will surely try you somewhat (in the matter) of the game which ye take with your hands and your spears, that Allah may know him who feareth Him in secret. Whoso transgresseth after this, for him there is a painful doom. ﴾94﴿
