اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ تَوَفّٰىهُمُ الْمَلٰٓىٕكَةُ ظَالِمِیْۤ اَنْفُسِهِمْ قَالُوْا فِیْمَ كُنْتُمْؕ-قَالُوْا كُنَّا مُسْتَضْعَفِیْنَ فِی الْاَرْضِؕ-قَالُوْۤا اَلَمْ تَكُنْ اَرْضُ اللّٰهِ وَاسِعَةً فَتُهَاجِرُوْا فِیْهَاؕ-فَاُولٰٓىٕكَ مَاْوٰىهُمْ جَهَنَّمُؕ-وَ سَآءَتْ مَصِیْرًا ﴿۹۷﴾

وہ لوگ جنکی جان فرشتے نکالتے ہیں اس حال میں کہ وہ اپنے اوپر ظلم کرتے تھے انسے فرشتے کہتے ہیں تم کاہے میں تھے کہتے ہیں کہ ہم زمین میں کمزور تھے (ف۲۶۷) کہتے ہیں کیا اللہ کی زمین کشادہ نہ تھی کہ تم اسمیں ہجرت کرتے، تو ایسوں کا ٹھکانا جہنم ہے، اور بہت بری جگہ پلٹنے کی(ف۲۶۸) ﴿۹۷﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) اور جو لوگ اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرتے ہیں جب فرشتے ان کی جان قبض کرنے لگتے ہیں تو ان سے پوچھتے ہیں کہ تم کس حال میں تھے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم ملک میں عاجز وناتواں تھے فرشتے کہتے ہیں کیا خدا کا ملک فراخ نہیں تھا کہ تم اس میں ہجرت کر جاتے ایسے لوگوں کا ٹھکانہ دوزخ ہے اور وہ بری جگہ ہے ﴿۹۷﴾

Surah Nisa Ayat 97 with English Translation

Lo! as for those whom the angels take (in death) while they wrong themselves, (the angels) will ask: In what were ye engaged? They will say: We were oppressed in the land. (The angels) will say: Was not Allah's earth spacious that ye could have migrated therein? As for such, their habitation will be hell, an evil journey's end; ﴾97﴿
