وَ كَذٰلِكَ اَوْحَیْنَاۤ اِلَیْكَ قُرْاٰنًا عَرَبِیًّا لِّتُنْذِرَ اُمَّ الْقُرٰى وَ مَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَ تُنْذِرَ یَوْمَ الْجَمْعِ لَا رَیْبَ فِیْهِؕ-فَرِیْقٌ فِی الْجَنَّةِ وَ فَرِیْقٌ فِی السَّعِیْرِ ﴿۷﴾

اور یونہی ہم نے تمہاری طرف عربی قرآن وحی بھیجا کہ تم ڈراؤ سب شہروں کی اصل مکہ والوں کو اور جتنے اس کے گرد ہیں (ف۹) اور تم ڈراؤ اکٹھے ہونے کے دن سے جس میں کچھ شک نہیں (ف۱۰) ایک گروہ جنت میں ہے اور ایک گروہ دوزخ میں، ﴿۷﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) اور اسی طرح تمہارے پاس قرآن عربی بھیجا ہے تاکہ تم بڑے گاؤں (یعنی مکّے) کے رہنے والوں کو اور جو لوگ اس کے اردگرد رہتے ہیں ان کو رستہ دکھاؤ اور انہیں قیامت کے دن کا بھی جس میں کچھ شک نہیں ہے خوف دلاؤ۔ اس روز ایک فریق بہشت میں ہوگا اور ایک فریق دوزخ میں ﴿۷﴾

And thus We have inspired in thee a Lecture in Arabic, that thou mayst warn the mother-town and those around it, and mayst warn of a day of assembling whereof there is no doubt. A host will be in the Garden, and a host of them in the Flame. ﴾7﴿
