Surah Zukhruf Ayat 23 in Arabic
وَكَذٰلِكَ مَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنَا مِنۡ قَبۡلِكَ فِىۡ قَرۡيَةٍ مِّنۡ نَّذِيۡرٍ اِلَّا قَالَ مُتۡرَفُوۡهَاۤ اِنَّا وَجَدۡنَاۤ اٰبَآءَنَا عَلٰٓى اُمَّةٍ وَّاِنَّا عَلٰٓى اٰثٰرِهِمۡ مُّقۡتَدُوۡنَ ﴿۲۳﴾
Surah Zukhruf Ayat 23 with Urdu Translation
اور ایسے ہی ہم نے تم سے پہلے جب کسی شہر میں ڈر سنانے والا بھیجا وہاں کے آسُودوں (امیروں) نے یہی کہا کہ ہم نے اپنے باپ دادا کو ایک دین پر پایا اور ہم ان کی لکیر کے پیچھے ہیں (ف۳۵) ﴿۲۳﴾

اور اسی طرح ہم نے تم سے پہلے کسی بستی میں کوئی ہدایت کرنے والا نہیں بھیجا مگر وہاں کے خوشحال لوگوں نے کہا کہ ہم نے اپنے باپ دادا کو ایک راہ پر پایا اور ہم قدم بقدم ان ہی کے پیچھے چلتے ہیں ﴿۲۳﴾

Surah Zukhruf Ayat 23 with English Translation
And even so We sent not a warner before thee (Muhammad) into any township but its luxurious ones said: Lo! we found our fathers following a religion, and we are following their footprints. ﴾23﴿
