حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعُثْمَانَ كَانُوا يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجَنَازَةِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ سَأَلْتُ مُحَمَّدًا عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ خَطَأٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْطَأَ فِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنَّمَا يُرْوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ يُونُسَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعُمَرَ كَانُوا يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجَنَازَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ:‏‏‏‏ وَأَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ أَبَاهُ كَانَ يَمْشِي أَمَامَ الْجَنَازَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا أَصَحُّ.

Urdu Translation

انس رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ، ابوبکر، عمر اور عثمان رضی الله عنہم جنازے کے آگے چلتے تھے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- میں نے محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری سے اس حدیث کے بارے میں پوچھا، تو انہوں نے کہا: یہ حدیث غلط ہے اس میں محمد بن بکر نے غلطی کی ہے۔ یہ حدیث یونس سے روایت کی جاتی ہے، اور یونس زہری سے ( مرسلاً ) روایت کرتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ، ابوبکر اور عمر جنازے کے آگے چلتے تھے۔ زہری کہتے ہیں: مجھے سالم بن عبداللہ نے خبر دی ہے کہ ان کے والد جنازے کے آگے آگے چلتے تھے، ۲- محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری کہتے ہیں: یہ زیادہ صحیح ہے۔ ( دیکھئیے سابقہ حدیث ۱۰۰۹ )

English Translation

Anas bin Malik narrated: The Messenger of Allah would walk in front of the funeral, as did Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman.
