Baab Amaal Hajj Aur Is Ky Ahkam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، سَمِعَ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَسْرِعُوا بِالْجَنَازَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنْ يَكُنْ خَيْرًا تُقَدِّمُوهَا إِلَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنْ يَكُنْ شَرًّا تَضَعُوهُ عَنْ رِقَابِكُمْ . وَفِي الْبَاب:‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   جنازہ تیزی سے لے کر چلو ۱؎، اگر وہ نیک ہو گا تو اسے خیر کی طرف جلدی پہنچا دو گے، اور اگر وہ برا ہو گا تو اسے اپنی گردن سے اتار کر ( جلد ) رکھ دو گے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابوبکرہ سے بھی روایت ہے۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah narrated that: The Prophet said: Hurry up with the funeral (procession) for if it was good, you are advancing it to good, and if it was evil, then you are taking it off your necks.
