حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ فَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَجَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيَزِيدَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَسٍ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ هُوَ أَخُو زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ وَهُوَ أَكْبَرُ مِنْهُ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَزَيْدٌ لَمْ يَشْهَدْ بَدْرًا. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَكْثَرِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَغَيْرِهِمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَرَوْنَ التَّكْبِيرَ عَلَى الْجَنَازَةِ أَرْبَعَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ:‏‏‏‏ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالشَّافِعِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَحْمَدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِسْحَاق.

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نجاشی کی نماز جنازہ پڑھی تو آپ نے چار تکبیریں کہیں۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابوہریرہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابن عباس، ابن ابی اوفی، جابر، یزید بن ثابت اور انس رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں ۳- یزید بن ثابت: زید بن ثابت کے بھائی ہیں۔ یہ ان سے بڑے ہیں۔ یہ بدر میں شریک تھے اور زید بدر میں شریک نہیں تھے، ۴- صحابہ کرام میں سے اکثر اہل علم کا اسی پر عمل ہے۔ ان لوگوں کی رائے ہے کہ نماز جنازہ میں چار تکبیریں ہیں۔ سفیان ثوری، مالک بن انس، ابن مبارک، شافعی، احمد اور اسحاق بن راہویہ کا یہی قول ہے۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah narrated: The Prophet prayed and in the funeral prayer he for An-Najashi, said four Takbir.
