Ruwaifi bin Thabit narrated that : the Prophet said: Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, then he does not levy his water on someone else's child.

حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ رُوَيْفِعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلَا يَسْقِ مَاءَهُ وَلَدَ غَيْرِهِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ رُوَيْفِعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا يَرَوْنَ لِلرَّجُلِ إِذَا اشْتَرَى جَارِيَةً وَهِيَ حَامِلٌ أَنْ يَطَأَهَا حَتَّى تَضَعَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَفِي الْبَاب:‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ

رویفع بن ثابت رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو اللہ اور یوم آخرت پر ایمان رکھتا ہو وہ اپنی ( منی ) کسی غیر کے بچے کو نہ پلائے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن ہے، ۲- یہ اور بھی کئی طرق سے رویفع بن ثابت رضی الله عنہ سے روایت کی گئی ہے، ۳- اہل علم کا عمل اسی پر ہے۔ یہ لوگ کسی شخص کے لیے یہ جائز نہیں سمجھتے کہ وہ جب کوئی حاملہ لونڈی خریدے تو وہ اس سے صحبت کرے جب تک کہ اسے وضع حمل نہ ہو جائے، ۴- اس باب میں ابو الدرداء، ابن عباس، عرباض بن ساریہ اور ابو سعید خدری رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔
