حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّوَارِبِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قُلْنَا:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا كُنَّا نَعْزِلُ فَزَعَمَتْ الْيَهُودُ أَنَّهَا الْمَوْءُودَةُ الصُّغْرَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَذَبَتْ الْيَهُودُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَهُ فَلَمْ يَمْنَعْهُ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْبَرَاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ.

Urdu Translation

جابر رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   ہم نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! ہم لوگ عزل ۱؎ کرتے تھے، تو یہودیوں نے کہا: قبر میں زندہ دفن کرنے کی یہ ایک چھوٹی صورت ہے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: ”یہودیوں نے جھوٹ کہا۔ اللہ جب اسے پیدا کرنا چاہے گا تو اسے کوئی روک نہیں سکے گا“ ۲؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: اس باب میں عمر، براء اور ابوہریرہ، ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔

English Translation

Jabir narrated: We said: 'O Messenger of Allah! We practice Azl, but the Jews claim that it is minor infanticide.' So he said: 'The Jews lie. When Allah wants to create it, nothing can prevent Him.'
