حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً سَأَلَتْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ أَتَقْضِي إِحْدَانَا صَلَاتَهَا أَيَّامَ مَحِيضِهَا ؟ فَقَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ أَحَرُورِيَّةٌ أَنْتِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَدْ كَانَتْ إِحْدَانَا تَحِيضُ فَلَا تُؤْمَرُ بِقَضَاءٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ الْحَائِضَ لَا تَقْضِي الصَّلَاةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ عَامَّةِ الْفُقَهَاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا اخْتِلَافَ بَيْنَهُمْ فِي أَنَّ الْحَائِضَ تَقْضِي الصَّوْمَ وَلَا تَقْضِي الصَّلَاةَ.

Urdu Translation

معاذہ کہتی ہیں کہ   ایک عورت نے عائشہ رضی الله عنہا سے پوچھا: کیا ہم حیض کے دنوں والی نماز کی قضاء کیا کریں؟ تو انہوں نے کہا: کیا تو حروریہ ۱؎ ہے؟ ہم میں سے ایک کو حیض آتا تھا تو اسے قضاء کا حکم نہیں دیا جاتا تھا۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اور عائشہ سے اور کئی سندوں سے بھی مروی ہے کہ حائضہ نماز قضاء نہیں کرے گی، ۳- اکثر فقہاء کا یہی قول ہے۔ ان کے درمیان کوئی اختلاف نہیں کہ حائضہ روزہ قضاء کرے گی اور نماز قضاء نہیں کرے گی۔

English Translation

Mu'adhah narrated that : a woman asked Aishah: Shouldn't one of us make up her prayers the days of her menstruation? So she said, Are you one of the Haruriyyah? Indeed we would menstruate, and we were not ordered to make up.
