حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ الْمُحَاقَلَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَدْ أَذِنَ لِأَهْلِ الْعَرَايَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْ يَبِيعُوهَا بِمِثْلِ خَرْصِهَا . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَجَابِرٍ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ هَكَذَا رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرَوَى أَيُّوبُ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، وَمَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُحَاقَلَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّهُ رَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرَايَا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق.

Urdu Translation

زید بن ثابت رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے محاقلہ اور مزابنہ سے منع فرمایا، البتہ آپ نے عرایا والوں کو اندازہ لگا کر اسے اتنی ہی کھجور میں بیچنے کی اجازت دی ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- زید بن ثابت رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث کو محمد بن اسحاق نے اسی طرح روایت کیا ہے۔ اور ایوب، عبیداللہ بن عمر اور مالک بن انس نے نافع سے اور نافع نے ابن عمر سے روایت کی ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے محاقلہ اور مزابنہ سے منع فرمایا ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابوہریرہ اور جابر رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔ اور اسی سند سے ابن عمر نے زید بن ثابت سے اور انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی ہے کہ آپ نے بیع عرایا کی اجازت دی۔ اور یہ محمد بن اسحاق کی حدیث سے زیادہ صحیح ہے ۲؎۔

English Translation

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: From Zaid bin Thabit that the Prophet (ﷺ) prohibited Al-Muhalaqah and Al-Muzabanah, except that he permitted those practice Al-'Araya to sell it for a like estimation. [He said:] There are narrations on this topic from Abu Hurairah and Jabir. [Abu 'Eisa said:] The Hadith if Zaid bin Thabit: This is how Muhammad bin Ishaq reported this Hadith. Ayyub, 'Ubaidullah bin 'Umar, and Malik bin Anas reported it from Nafi', from 'Ibn Umar: The Prophet (ﷺ) prohibited Al-Muhalaqah and Al-Muzabanah. With this chain of narration, it has been reported from Ibn 'Umar, from Zaid bin Thabit, from the Prophet (ﷺ) that he permitted Al-'Araya in cases less that five Wasq. This is more correct than the narration of Muhammad bin Ishaq.
