Baab Qasam Khaane Aur Nazar Ke Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، أَخْبَرَنِي سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَال:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ قَبِيصَةَ بْنَ هُلْبٍ يُحَدِّثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ طَعَامِ النَّصَارَى ؟ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا يَتَخَلَّجَنَّ فِي صَدْرِكَ طَعَامٌ ضَارَعْتَ فِيهِ النَّصْرَانِيَّةَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ.

Urdu Translation

ہلب رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے نصاریٰ کے کھانا کے بارے میں سوال کیا تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”کوئی کھانا تمہارے دل میں شک نہ پیدا کرے کہ اس کے سلسلہ میں نصرانیت سے تمہاری مشابہت ہو جائے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Qabisah bin Hulb: From his father, who said: I asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about the food of the Christians. He (ﷺ) said: 'Do not allow food to put uneasiness in your chest similar to the doubts of Christianity about it. [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan
