Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mughaffal: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prohibited combing except every other day.

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ التَّرَجُّلِ إِلَّا غِبًّا .

عبداللہ بن مغفل رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کنگھی کرنے سے منع فرمایا، سوائے اس کے کہ ناغہ کر کے کی جائے۔
