Baab Khaane Ke Mutaliq Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَتِيكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا حَدَّثَ الرَّجُلُ الْحَدِيثَ ثُمَّ الْتَفَتَ فَهِيَ أَمَانَةٌ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ.

Urdu Translation

جابر بن عبداللہ رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب کوئی آدمی تم سے کوئی بات بیان کرے پھر ( اسے راز میں رکھنے کے لیے ) دائیں بائیں مڑ کر دیکھے تو وہ بات تمہارے پاس امانت ہے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن ہے، ۲- ہم اسے صرف ابن ابی ذئب کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں۔

English Translation

Jabir bin Abdullah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said : When a man narrates a narration, then he looks around, then it is a trust.
