حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏اللَّهُمَّ أَرْشِدِ الْأَئِمَّةَ وَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَائِشَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَسَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَعُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏رَوَاهُ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ وَحَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. وَرَوَى أَسْبَاطُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حُدِّثْتُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ وَرَوَى نَافِعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وسَمِعْت أَبَا زُرْعَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وسَمِعْت مُحَمَّدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَصَحُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَذَكَرَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمَدِينِيِّ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يُثْبِتْ حَدِيثَ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا حَدِيثَ أَبِي صَالِحٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ فِي هَذَا.

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی الله علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”امام ضامن ہے ۱؎ اور مؤذن امین ۲؎ ہے، اے اللہ! تو اماموں کو راہ راست پر رکھ ۳؎ اور مؤذنوں کی مغفرت فرما“ ۴؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- اس باب میں عائشہ، سہل بن سعد اور عقبہ بن عامر رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔ ۲- مولف نے حدیث کے طرق اور پہلی سند کی متابعت ذکر کرنے اور ابوصالح کی عائشہ سے روایت کے بعد فرمایا: میں نے ابوزرعہ کو کہتے سنا کہ ابوصالح کی ابوہریرہ سے مروی حدیث ابوصالح کی عائشہ سے مروی حدیث سے زیادہ صحیح ہے۔ نیز میں نے محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری کو کہتے سنا کہ ابوصالح کی عائشہ سے مروی حدیث زیادہ صحیح ہے اور بخاری، علی بن مدینی کہتے ہیں کہ ابوصالح کی حدیث ابوہریرہ سے مروی حدیث ثابت نہیں ہے اور نہ ہی ابوصالح کی عائشہ سے مروی حدیث صحیح ہے۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah narrated that : Allah's Messenger said: The Imam is answerable and the Mu'adh-dhin is entrusted. O Allah! Guide the Imams and pardon the Mu'adh-dhins.
