Baab Fitno Aur Jungon Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُصْعَبٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ، عَنْ مُحْرَّرِ بْنِ هَارُونَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ بَادِرُوا بِالْأَعْمَالِ سَبْعًا هَلْ تَنْتَظِرُونَ إِلَّا فَقْرًا مُنْسِيًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ غِنًى مُطْغِيًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ مَرَضًا مُفْسِدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ هَرَمًا مُفَنِّدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ مَوْتًا مُجْهِزًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوِ الدَّجَّالَ فَشَرُّ غَائِبٍ يُنْتَظَرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوِ السَّاعَةَ فَالسَّاعَةُ أَدْهَى وَأَمَرُّ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْأَعْرَجِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ مُحَرَّرِ بْنِ هَارُونَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رَوَى بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ وَغَيْرُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَرَّرِ بْنِ هَارُونَ هَذَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رَوَى مَعْمَرٌ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ سَعِيدًا الْمَقْبُرِيَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ تَنْتَظِرُونَ.

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”سات چیزوں سے پہلے نیک اعمال کرنے میں جلدی کرو، تمہیں ایسے فقر کا انتظار ہے جو سب کچھ بھلا ڈالنے والا ہے؟ یا ایسی مالداری کا جو طغیانی پیدا کرنے والی ہے؟ یا ایسی بیماری کا جو مفسد ہے ( یعنی اطاعت الٰہی میں خلل ڈالنے والی ) ہے؟ یا ایسے بڑھاپے کا جو عقل کو کھو دینے والا ہے؟ یا ایسی موت کا جو جلدی ہی آنے والی ہے؟ یا اس دجال کا انتظار ہے جس کا انتظار سب سے برے غائب کا انتظار ہے؟ یا اس قیامت کا جو قیامت نہایت سخت اور کڑوی ہے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے، ۲- اعرج ابوہریرہ سے مروی حدیث ہم صرف محرز بن ہارون کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں، ۳- بشر بن عمر اور ان کے علاوہ لوگوں نے بھی اسے محرز بن ہارون سے روایت کیا ہے، ۴- معمر نے ایک ایسے شخص سے سنا ہے جس نے بسند «سعيدا المقبري عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم» اسی جیسی حدیث روایت کی ہے اس میں «هل تنتظرون» کی بجائے «تنتظرون» ہے۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: Race to do works against seven. Are you waiting but for overwhelming poverty, or distracting richness, or debilitating illness, or babbling senility, or sudden death, or the Dajjal, so that hidden evil is what is awaited, or the Hour? The Hour is more calamitous and more bitter. (Daif)
