Abu Umamah narrated the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w)said: My Lord promised me that seventy thousand of my Ummah shall be admitted into Paradise without a reckoning against them, Nor any punishment. With every thousand, are seventy thousand and three measures from the measures of my Lord.

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْأَلْهَانِيِّ، قَال:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ،‏‏‏‏ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ وَعَدَنِي رَبِّي أَنْ يُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي سَبْعِينَ أَلْفًا لَا حِسَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا عَذَابَ مَعَ كُلِّ أَلْفٍ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا وَثَلَاثُ حَثَيَاتٍ مِنْ حَثَيَاتِهِ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ.

ابوامامہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: ”میرے رب نے مجھ سے وعدہ فرمایا ہے کہ وہ میری امت میں سے ستر ہزار لوگوں کو جنت میں داخل کرے گا، نہ ان کا حساب ہو گا اور نہ ان پر کوئی عذاب، ( پھر ) ہر ہزار کے ساتھ ستر ہزار ہوں گے، اور ان کے سوا میرے رب کی مٹھیوں میں سے تین مٹھیوں کے برابر بھی ہوں گے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے۔
