Baab Sunnaton Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ ،‏‏‏‏ وفي الباب عن عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمُعَاوِيَةَ،‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس کے ساتھ اللہ بھلائی کا ارادہ فرماتا ہے، تو اسے دین کی سمجھ عطا کر دیتا ہے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱ - یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں عمر، ابوہریرہ، اور معاویہ رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔

English Translation

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: For whomever Allah wants good, he gives him understanding in the religion.
