حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ الْبَدْرِيِّ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا تُجْزِئُ صَلَاةٌ لَا يُقِيمُ فِيهَا الرَّجُلُ يَعْنِي صُلْبَهُ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَنَسٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَرِفَاعَةَ الزُّرَقِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ يَرَوْنَ أَنْ يُقِيمَ الرَّجُلُ صُلْبَهُ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وقَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَحْمَدُ،‏‏‏‏ وَإِسْحَاق:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ لَمْ يُقِمْ صُلْبَهُ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ فَصَلَاتُهُ فَاسِدَةٌ:‏‏‏‏ لِحَدِيثِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا تُجْزِئُ صَلَاةٌ لَا يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ فِيهَا صُلْبَهُ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ وَأَبُو مَعْمَرٍ اسْمُهُ:‏‏‏‏ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَخْبَرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبُو مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ الْبَدْرِيُّ اسْمُهُ:‏‏‏‏ عُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍوَ.

Urdu Translation

ابومسعود عقبہ بن عمرو انصاری بدری رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اس شخص کی نماز کافی نہ ہو گی جو رکوع اور سجدے میں اپنی پیٹھ سیدھی نہ رکھے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابومسعود انصاری کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں علی بن شیبان، انس، ابوہریرہ اور رفاعہ زرقی رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- صحابہ کرام اور ان کے بعد کے لوگوں میں سے اہل علم کا اسی پر عمل ہے کہ آدمی رکوع اور سجدے میں اپنی پیٹھ سیدھی رکھے، ۴- شافعی، احمد، اور اسحاق بن راہویہ کہتے ہیں کہ جس نے رکوع اور سجدے میں اپنی پیٹھ سیدھی نہیں رکھی تو اس کی نماز فاسد ہے، اس لیے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی حدیث ہے: ”اس شخص کی نماز کافی نہ ہو گی جو رکوع اور سجدے میں اپنی پیٹھ سیدھی نہ رکھے۔

English Translation

Abu Mas'ud Al-Ansari [Al-Badri] narrated that : Allah's Messenger said: The Salat is not acceptable if a man is not at rest - meaning his back - while bowing and prostrating.
