حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ بُنْدَارٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبَّاسُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا سَجَدَ أَمْكَنَ أَنْفَهُ وَجَبْهَتَهُ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَنَحَّى يَدَيْهِ عَنْ جَنْبَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَوَضَعَ كَفَّيْهِ حَذْوَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَوَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَيْهِ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى جَبْهَتِهِ وَأَنْفِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنْ سَجَدَ عَلَى جَبْهَتِهِ دُونَ أَنْفِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَدْ قَالَ قَوْمٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ:‏‏‏‏ يُجْزِئُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ غَيْرُهُمْ:‏‏‏‏ لَا يُجْزِئُهُ حَتَّى يَسْجُدَ عَلَى الْجَبْهَةِ وَالْأَنْفِ.

Urdu Translation

ابو حمید ساعدی رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب سجدہ کرتے تو اپنی ناک اور پیشانی خوب اچھی طرح زمین پر جماتے، اور اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں کو اپنے دونوں پہلوؤں سے دور رکھتے، اور اپنی دونوں ہتھیلیوں کو دونوں شانوں کے بالمقابل رکھتے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابوحمید کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابن عباس، وائل بن حجر اور ابوسعید رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- اور اہل علم کا اسی پر عمل ہے کہ آدمی اپنی پیشانی اور ناک دونوں پر سجدہ کرے، اور اگر صرف پیشانی پر سجدہ کرے ناک پر نہ کرے تو اہل علم میں سے کچھ لوگوں کا کہنا ہے کہ یہ اسے کافی ہو گا، اور کچھ لوگوں کا کہنا ہے کہ کافی نہیں ہو گا جب تک کہ وہ پیشانی اور ناک دونوں پر سجدہ نہ کرے ۱؎۔

English Translation

Abu Humaid As-Sa'idi narrated: When the Prophet would prostrate, he placed his nose and his forehead on the ground, and he held his forearms away from his sides, and he placed his hands parallel to his shoulders.
