حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلالُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا يُقِمْ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَكَانَ الرَّجُلُ يَقُومُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ فَلَا يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم میں سے کوئی شخص اپنے بھائی کو اس کی جگہ سے اٹھا کر خود اس جگہ نہ بیٹھ جائے“۔ راوی سالم کہتے ہیں: ابن عمر رضی الله عنہما کے احترام میں آدمی ان کے آنے پر اپنی جگہ سے اٹھ کر کھڑا ہو جاتا تھا لیکن وہ ( اس ممانعت کی وجہ سے ) اس کی جگہ نہیں بیٹھتے تھے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث صحیح ہے۔ اور پھر واپس آئے تو وہ اپنی جگہ پر بیٹھنے کا زیادہ مستحق ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Let one of you not have his brother stand from his seat then sit in it.
