حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ، عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ خَرَجَ مُعَاوِيَةُ، فَقَامَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنُ صَفْوَانَ حِينَ رَأَوْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اجْلِسَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَتَمَثَّلَ لَهُ الرِّجَالُ قِيَامًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ وَفِي الْبَابِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ، عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مِثْلَهُ.

Urdu Translation

ابومجلز کہتے ہیں کہ   معاویہ رضی الله عنہ باہر نکلے، عبداللہ بن زبیر اور ابن صفوان انہیں دیکھ کر ( احتراماً ) کھڑے ہو گئے۔ تو معاویہ رضی الله عنہ نے کہا تم دونوں بیٹھ جاؤ۔ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے: ”جو شخص یہ پسند کرے کہ لوگ اس کے سامنے با ادب کھڑے ہوں تو وہ اپنا ٹھکانا جہنم میں بنا لے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابوامامہ سے بھی روایت ہے۔ ہم سے بیان کیا ہناد نے وہ کہتے ہیں: ہم سے بیان کیا ابواسامہ نے اور ابواسامہ نے حبیب بن شہید سے حبیب بن شہید نے ابومجلز سے ابومجلز نے معاویہ کے واسطہ سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اسی طرح روایت کی۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Miljaz: that Mu'awiyah came out and 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair and Ibn Safwan stood for him when they saw him, so he said: Sit, I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: 'Whoever wishes that he be received by men standing then, let him take his seat in the Fire.'
