حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْكُوفِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُتَّكِئًا عَلَى وِسَادَةٍ عَلَى يَسَارِهِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرَوَى غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُتَّكِئًا عَلَى وِسَادَةٍ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ عَلَى يَسَارِهِ.

Urdu Translation

جابر بن سمرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اپنی بائیں جانب تکیہ پر ٹیک لگا کر بیٹھے ہوئے دیکھا۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے، ۲- اس حدیث کو کئی اور نے بطریق: «إسرائيل عن سماك عن جابر بن سمرة» روایت کی ہے، ( اس میں ہے ) وہ کہتے ہیں: میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو تکیہ پر ٹیک لگائے ہوئے دیکھا، لیکن انہوں نے «علی یسارہ» اپنی بائیں جانب تکیہ رکھنے کا ذکر نہیں کیا۔

English Translation

Narrated Jabir bin Samurah: I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) reclining upon as pillow, on his left side.
