حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ الْمُسْتَشَارُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رَوَى غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ شَيْبَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ النَّحْوِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَشَيْبَانُ هُوَ صَاحِبُ كِتَابٍ وَهُوَ صَحِيحُ الْحَدِيثِ وَيُكْنَى أَبَا مُعَاوِيَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ الْعَطَّارُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي لَأُحَدِّثُ الْحَدِيثَ فَمَا أَدْعُ مِنْهُ حَرْفًا.

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”مشیر جس سے مشورہ لیا جاتا ہے اس کو امانت دار ہونا چاہیئے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن ہے، ۲- متعدد لوگوں نے شیبان بن عبدالرحمٰن نحوی سے روایت کی ہے، اور شیبان، صاحب کتاب اور صحیح الحدیث ہیں، اور ان کی کنیت ابومعاویہ ہے، ۳- ہم سے عبدالجبار بن علاء عطار نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے روایت کی سفیان بن عیینہ سے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ عبدالملک بن عمیر نے کہا: جب میں حدیث بیان کرتا ہوں تو اس حدیث کا ایک ایک لفظ ( یعنی پوری حدیث ) بیان کر دیتا ہوں۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Hurairah: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The one whose counsel is sought is entrusted.
