حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ زَاذَانَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ وَاسْتَظْهَرَهُ فَأَحَلَّ حَلَالَهُ وَحَرَّمَ حَرَامَهُ أَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ بِهِ الْجَنَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَشَفَّعَهُ فِي عَشْرَةٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ كُلُّهُمْ قَدْ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ النَّارُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَيْسَ إِسْنَادُهُ بِصَحِيحٍ وَحَفْصُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ يُضَعَّفُ فِي الْحَدِيثِ.

Urdu Translation

علی بن ابی طالب رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس نے قرآن پڑھا اور اسے پوری طرح حفظ کر لیا، جس چیز کو قرآن نے حلال ٹھہرایا اسے حلال جانا اور جس چیز کو قرآن نے حرام ٹھہرایا اسے حرام سمجھا تو اللہ اسے اس قرآن کے ذریعہ جنت میں داخل فرمائے گا۔ اور اس کے خاندان کے دس ایسے لوگوں کے بارے میں اس ( قرآن ) کی سفارش قبول کرے گا جن پر جہنم واجب ہو چکی ہو گی“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث غریب ہے، اسے ہم صرف اسی سند سے جانتے ہیں، ۲- اس کی سند صحیح نہیں ہے، ۳- حفص بن سلیمان حدیث میں ضعیف قرار دیئے گئے ہیں۔

English Translation

Narrated 'Ali bub Abi Talib: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whoever recites the Qur'an and memorizes it, making lawful what it makes lawful, and unlawful what it makes unlawful, Allah will admit him to Paradise due to it, and grant him intercession for ten of his family members who were to be consigned to the Fire.
