حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ أَبُو حَفْصٍ الْفَلَّاسُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِنِّي إِذَا أَصَبْتُ اللَّحْمَ انْتَشَرْتُ لِلنِّسَاءِ وَأَخَذَتْنِي شَهْوَتِي فَحَرَّمْتُ عَلَيَّ اللَّحْمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ:‏‏‏‏ يَأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تُحَرِّمُوا طَيِّبَاتِ مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَلا تَعْتَدُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ ‏‏‏‏ 87 ‏‏‏‏ وَكُلُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ حَلالا طَيِّبًا سورة المائدة آية 86-87 ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ وَرَوَاهُ بَعْضُهُمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ مُرْسَلًا لَيْسَ فِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرَوَاهُ خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ مُرْسَلًا.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   ایک شخص نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آ کر عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! جب میں گوشت کھا لیتا ہوں تو عورت کے لیے بے چین ہو جاتا ہوں، مجھ پر شہوت چھا جاتی ہے۔ چنانچہ میں نے اپنے آپ پر گوشت کھانا حرام کر لیا ہے۔ ( اس پر ) اللہ نے آیت «يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تحرموا طيبات ما أحل الله لكم ولا تعتدوا إن الله لا يحب المعتدين وكلوا مما رزقكم الله حلالا طيبا» ”مسلمانو! اللہ کی حلال کی ہوئی چیزوں کو حرام مت کرو اور حد سے نہ بڑھو، اللہ حد سے بڑھنے والوں کو دوست نہیں رکھتا اور جو کچھ اللہ عزوجل نے تمہیں عطا کر رکھا ہے اس میں پاکیزہ حلال کھاؤ“ ( المائدہ: ۸۷ ) ، نازل فرمائی۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے، ۲- بعض محدثین نے اسے عثمان بن سعد سے مرسلاً روایت کیا ہے، اس میں ابن عباس سے روایت کا ذکر نہیں ہے، ۳- خالد حذاء نے بھی اس حدیث کو عکرمہ سے مرسلاً روایت کیا ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated 'Ikrimah: from Ibn 'Abbas: A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah! When I consume meat and I get around women, my desires get the best of me. So I made meat unlawful for myself.' So Allah revealed: O you who believe! Make not unlawful the good things which Allah has made lawful to you, and transgress not. Verily Allah does not like the transgressors. And eat of the things which Allah has provided for you, lawful and good (5:87-88).
