حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَا سَيِّدُ وَلَدِ آدَمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا فَخْرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبِيَدِي لِوَاءُ الْحَمْدِ وَلَا فَخْرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَا مِنْ نَبِيٍّ يَوْمَئِذٍ آدَمُ فَمَنْ سِوَاهُ إِلَّا تَحْتَ لِوَائِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ مَنْ تَنْشَقُّ عَنْهُ الْأَرْضُ وَلَا فَخْرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَيَفْزَعُ النَّاسُ ثَلَاثَ فَزَعَاتٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَأْتُونَ آدَمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَقُولُونَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْتَ أَبُونَا آدَمُ فَاشْفَعْ لَنَا إِلَى رَبِّكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي أَذْنَبْتُ ذَنْبًا أُهْبِطْتُ مِنْهُ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَكِنْ ائْتُوا نُوحًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَأْتُونَ نُوحًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي دَعَوْتُ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ دَعْوَةً فَأُهْلِكُوا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَكِنْ اذْهَبُوا إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَأْتُونَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي كَذَبْتُ ثَلَاثَ كَذِبَاتٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا مِنْهَا كَذِبَةٌ إِلَّا مَا حَلَّ بِهَا عَنْ دِينِ اللَّهِ وَلَكِنْ ائْتُوا مُوسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَأْتُونَ مُوسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي قَدْ قَتَلْتُ نَفْسًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَكِنْ ائْتُوا عِيسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَأْتُونَ عِيسَى فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي عُبِدْتُ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَكِنْ ائْتُوا مُحَمَّدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَيَأْتُونَنِي فَأَنْطَلِقُ مَعَهُمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ ابْنُ جُدْعَانَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَنَسٌ:‏‏‏‏ فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَآخُذُ بِحَلْقَةِ بَابِ الْجَنَّةِ فَأُقَعْقِعُهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيُقَالُ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ هَذَا ؟ فَيُقَالُ:‏‏‏‏ مُحَمَّدٌ فَيَفْتَحُونَ لِي وَيُرَحِّبُونَ بِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَقُولُونَ:‏‏‏‏ مَرْحَبًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَخِرُّ سَاجِدًا فَيُلْهِمُنِي اللَّهُ مِنَ الثَّنَاءِ وَالْحَمْدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيُقَالُ لِي:‏‏‏‏ ارْفَعْ رَأْسَكَ سَلْ تُعْطَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَاشْفَعْ تُشَفَّعْ وَقُلْ يُسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِكَ وَهُوَ الْمَقَامُ الْمَحْمُودُ الَّذِي قَالَ اللَّهُ:‏‏‏‏ عَسَى أَنْ يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا سورة الإسراء آية 79 ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ سُفْيَانُ:‏‏‏‏ لَيْسَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ إِلَّا هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَةُ فَآخُذُ بِحَلْقَةِ بَابِ الْجَنَّةِ فَأُقَعْقِعُهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رَوَى بَعْضُهُمْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ..

Urdu Translation

ابو سعید خدری رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”قیامت کے دن میں سارے انسانوں کا سردار ہوں گا، اور اس پر مجھے کوئی گھمنڈ نہیں ہے، میرے ہاتھ میں حمد ( و شکر ) کا پرچم ہو گا اور مجھے ( اس اعزاز پر ) کوئی گھمنڈ نہیں ہے۔ اس دن آدم اور آدم کے علاوہ جتنے بھی نبی ہیں سب کے سب میرے جھنڈے کے نیچے ہوں گے، میں پہلا شخص ہوں گا جس کے لیے زمین پھٹے گی ( اور میں برآمد ہوں گا ) اور مجھے اس پر بھی کوئی گھمنڈ نہیں ہے“، آپ نے فرمایا: ” ( قیامت میں ) لوگوں پر تین مرتبہ سخت گھبراہٹ طاری ہو گی، لوگ آدم علیہ السلام کے پاس آئیں گے اور کہیں گے: آپ ہمارے باپ ہیں، آپ اپنے رب سے ہماری شفاعت ( سفارش ) کر دیجئیے، وہ کہیں گے: مجھ سے ایک گناہ سرزد ہو چکا ہے جس کی وجہ سے میں زمین پر بھیج دیا گیا تھا، تم لوگ نوح کے پاس جاؤ، وہ لوگ نوح علیہ السلام کے پاس آئیں گے، مگر نوح علیہ السلام کہیں گے: میں زمین والوں کے خلاف بد دعا کر چکا ہوں جس کے نتیجہ میں وہ ہلاک کیے جا چکے ہیں، لیکن ایسا کرو، تم لوگ ابراہیم علیہ السلام کے پاس چلے جاؤ، وہ لوگ ابراہیم علیہ السلام کے پاس آئیں گے، ابراہیم علیہ السلام کہیں گے: میں تین جھوٹ بول چکا ہوں“، آپ نے فرمایا: ”ان میں سے کوئی جھوٹ جھوٹ نہیں تھا، بلکہ اس سے اللہ کے دین کی حمایت و تائید مقصود تھی، البتہ تم موسیٰ علیہ السلام کے پاس جاؤ، تو وہ لوگ موسیٰ علیہ السلام کے پاس آئیں گے، موسیٰ علیہ السلام کہیں گے: میں ایک قتل کر چکا ہوں، لیکن تم عیسیی علیہ السلام کے پاس چلے جاؤ۔ تو وہ عیسیٰ علیہ السلام کے پاس جائیں گے، وہ کہیں گے: اللہ کے سوا مجھے معبود بنا لیا گیا تھا، تم لوگ محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس جاؤ“، آپ نے فرمایا: ”لوگ میرے پاس ( سفارش کرانے کی غرض سے ) آئیں گے، میں ان کے ساتھ ( دربار الٰہی کی طرف ) جاؤں گا“، ابن جدعان ( راوی حدیث ) کہتے ہیں: انس نے کہا: مجھے ایسا لگ رہا ہے تو ان میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھ رہا ہوں، آپ نے فرمایا: ”میں جنت کے دروازے کا حلقہ ( زنجیر ) پکڑ کر اسے ہلاؤں گا، پوچھا جائے گا: کون ہے؟ کہا جائے گا: محمد ہیں، وہ لوگ میرے لیے دروازہ کھول دیں گے، اور مجھے خوش آمدید کہیں گے، میں ( اندر پہنچ کر اللہ کے حضور ) سجدے میں گر جاؤں گا اور حمد و ثنا کے جو الفاظ اور کلمے اللہ میرے دل میں ڈالے گا وہ میں سجدے میں ادا کروں گا، پھر مجھ سے کہا جائے گا: اپنا سر اٹھائیے، مانگیے ( جو کچھ مانگنا ہو ) آپ کو دیا جائے گا۔ ( کسی کی سفارش کرنی ہو تو ) سفارش کیجئے آپ کی شفاعت ( سفارش ) قبول کی جائے گی، کہئے آپ کی بات سنی جائے گی۔ اور وہ جگہ ( جہاں یہ باتیں ہوں گی ) مقام محمود ہو گا جس کے متعلق اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا ہے «عسى أن يبعثك ربك مقاما محمودا» ”توقع ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ آپ کو مقام محمود میں بھیجے“ ( بنی اسرائیل: ۷۹ ) ۔ سفیان ثوری کہتے ہیں: انس کی روایت میں اس کلمے «فآخذ بحلقة باب الجنة فأقعقعها» کے سوا اور کچھ نہیں ہے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن ہے، ۲- بعض محدثین نے یہ پوری حدیث ابونضرہ کے واسطہ سے ابن عباس سے روایت کی ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: I am the chief of the children of Adam on the Day of Judgement and I am not boasting, and in my hand is the banner of praise and I am not boasting, and there has been no Prophet since Adam or other than him, except that he is under my banner. And I am the first for whom the earth will split open, and I am not boasting. He said: The people will be frightened by three frights. So they will come to Adam saying: 'You are our father Adam, so intercede for us with your Lord.' So he says: 'I committed a sin for which I was expelled to the earth, so go to Nuh.' So they will come to Nuh and he will say: 'I supplicated against the people of the earth, so they were destroyed. So go to Ibrahim.' So they will go to Ibrahim, and he says: 'I lied three times.' Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: He did not lie except defending Allah's religion. So go to Musa.' So they will come to Musa, and he will say: 'I took a life. So go to 'Eisa. So they go to 'Eisa and he says: 'I was worshiped besides Allah. So go to Muhammad (ﷺ).' He said: So they will come to me, and I will go to them. (One of the narrators) Ibn Ju'dan said: Anas said: 'It is as if I am looking at the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and he is saying: So I will take hold of a ring of a gate of Paradise to rattle it, and it will be said: 'Who is there?' It will be said: 'Muhammad.' They will open it for me, and welcome me saying, 'Welcome.' I will fall prostrate and Allah will inspire me with statements of gratitude and praise and it will be said to me: 'Raise your head, ask and you shall be given, intercede, and your intercession shall be accepted, speak, and your saying shall be heard.' And that is Al-Maqam Al-Mahmud about which Allah said: It may be that your Lord will raise you to Maqaman-Mahmud (17:79). Sufyan said: None of it is from Anas except this sentence: 'I will take hold of a ring of a gate of Paradise to rattle it.'
