حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّوَارِبِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَلَا تَأْتُوهَا وَأَنْتُمْ تَسْعَوْنَ وَلَكِنْ ائْتُوهَا وَأَنْتُمْ تَمْشُونَ وَعَلَيْكُمُ السَّكِينَةَ فَمَا أَدْرَكْتُمْ فَصَلُّوا وَمَا فَاتَكُمْ فَأَتِمُّوا . وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَأُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَجَابِرٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ اخْتَلَفَ أَهْلُ الْعِلْمِ فِي الْمَشْيِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ رَأَى الْإِسْرَاعَ إِذَا خَافَ فَوْتَ التَّكْبِيرَةِ الْأُولَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَتَّى ذُكِرَ عَنْ بَعْضِهِمْ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُهَرْوِلُ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ كَرِهَ الْإِسْرَاعَ وَاخْتَارَ أَنْ يَمْشِيَ عَلَى تُؤَدَةٍ وَوَقَارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبِهِ يَقُولُ أَحْمَدُ،‏‏‏‏ وَإِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَا:‏‏‏‏ الْعَمَلُ عَلَى حَدِيثِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وقَالَ إِسْحَاق:‏‏‏‏ إِنْ خَافَ فَوْتَ التَّكْبِيرَةِ الْأُولَى فَلَا بَأْسَ أَنْ يُسْرِعَ فِي الْمَشْيِ.

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب نماز کی تکبیر ( اقامت ) کہہ دی جائے تو ( نماز میں سے ) اس کی طرف دوڑ کر مت آؤ، بلکہ چلتے ہوئے اس حال میں آؤ کہ تم پر سکینت طاری ہو، تو جو پاؤ اسے پڑھو اور جو چھوٹ جائے، اسے پوری کرو“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- اس باب میں ابوقتادہ، ابی بن کعب، ابوسعید، زید بن ثابت، جابر اور انس رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۲- اہل علم کا مسجد کی طرف چل کر جانے میں اختلاف ہے: ان میں سے بعض کی رائے ہے کہ جب تکبیر تحریمہ کے فوت ہونے کا ڈر ہو، وہ دوڑے یہاں تک کہ بعض لوگوں کے بارے میں مذکور ہے کہ وہ نماز کے لیے قدرے دوڑ کر جاتے تھے اور بعض لوگوں نے دوڑ کر جانے کو مکروہ قرار دیا ہے اور آہستگی و وقار سے جانے کو پسند کیا ہے۔ یہی احمد اور اسحاق بن راہویہ کہتے ہیں، ان دونوں کا کہنا ہے کہ عمل ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث پر ہے۔ اور اسحاق بن راہویہ کہتے ہیں کہ اگر تکبیر تحریمہ کے چھوٹ جانے کا ڈر ہو تو دوڑ کر جانے میں کوئی مضائقہ نہیں۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah narrated that : Allah's Messenger said: When the Iqamah is called for Salat do not come to it rushing, rather come to it walking, and while you have tranquility. What you catch of it then pray it, and what you missed of it, then complete it.
