حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى الْخُمْرَةِ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَيْمُونَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْأَسَدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَمْ تَسْمَعْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبِهِ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وقَالَ أَحْمَدُ،‏‏‏‏ وَإِسْحَاق:‏‏‏‏ قَدْ ثَبَتَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصَّلَاةُ عَلَى الْخُمْرَةِ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَالْخُمْرَةُ هُوَ:‏‏‏‏ حَصِيرٌ قَصِيرٌ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم «خمرہ» ”چھوٹی چٹائی“ پر نماز پڑھتے تھے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابن عباس رضی الله عنہما کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ام حبیبہ، ابن عمر، ام سلیم، عائشہ، میمونہ، ام کلثوم بنت ابی سلمہ بن عبدالاسد ( ام کلثوم بنت ابی سلمہ نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے نہیں سنا ہے ) اور ام سلمہ رضی الله عنہم سے احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- بعض اہل علم کا یہی خیال ہے، احمد اور اسحاق بن راہویہ بھی یہی کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے «خمرہ» پر نماز ثابت ہے، ۴- «خمرہ» چھوٹی چٹائی کو کہتے ہیں۔

English Translation

Ibn Abbas narrated: Allah's Messenger performed Salat on a Khumrah.
